Terms of Service

Last updated: July 22, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the products and services offered by That Dawg Design Co., a registered assumed name (DBA) of That Dawg Walking Service, LLC, New Paltz, New York ("That Dawg," "we," "us," "our"). By placing an order, submitting a form, or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

2. What we make

That Dawg Design Co. offers:

If you are not sure whether your project fits, ask us and we will tell you honestly before you order.

3. Quotes and pricing

Most work is quoted per project or per order based on what you describe. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Work outside the quoted scope can be added on request at additional cost, discussed with you before we proceed. Prices shown on this site may change at any time before an order is confirmed. New York State sales tax is added where required by law.

4. Orders, deposits, and payment

An order is confirmed when you approve the quote and pay the deposit. Standard payment terms are 50% at booking and 50% at delivery, unless your written agreement says otherwise. Accepted payment methods are listed on your quote or invoice. Deposits cover materials, setup, and reserved production time, and are non-refundable once your proof is approved or materials are ordered.

Production does not begin until the deposit clears and you have approved your proof.

5. Proofs and approval

For custom work we send a digital proof before production. Please check spelling, names, dates, colors, sizes, and placement carefully. Once you approve a proof, that approval is what we produce. Reprints for errors present in an approved proof are billed as a new order.

Screen colors vary by device. Printed and pressed colors are matched as closely as the materials allow, and small variation in placement and shade is normal in handmade work.

6. Changes and cancellations

Tell us as soon as possible if something changes. Once artwork is prepared or materials are ordered, cancellation may forfeit the deposit or incur a fee covering work already done. Cancellation requests should be sent in writing to the email in section 13, with at least 48 hours notice where possible.

7. Custom goods, returns, and claims

8. Your artwork and content

If you send us a logo, photo, text, or other artwork, you confirm you own it or have permission to use it, and you allow us to use it to produce your order. We do not reproduce work that infringes someone else's trademark or copyright, and we may decline any job for that reason. You agree to cover any claim that comes from artwork you supplied.

9. Our artwork and designs

Original designs, town artwork, map art, and layouts created by That Dawg remain our property unless your written agreement transfers them to you. Buying a product buys the product, not the design rights. Wholesale partners receive rights to sell finished goods, not to reproduce the artwork themselves.

We may photograph finished work and show it in our portfolio and on social media. Tell us in writing if you would rather we did not.

10. Web design projects

11. Website use

This site and its demo pages are provided as is. Please do not copy, scrape, or republish our content, artwork, or code without permission. We may update or remove pages at any time. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

12. Liability

We stand behind our work and will correct problems that are our fault. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost sales or lost profits.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms? Email thatdawgdesignco@gmail.com. We are based in New Paltz, New York, and email is the fastest way to reach us. If you need a mailing address for a formal notice, ask and we will provide one.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Ulster County, New York.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and the version posted when you order is the one that applies to that order.
